right i have a tesco boradband internet connection but my mums bf said i can use his modem (wireless and has a ethernet connection ) so i could have a strait connection but would it work if i used the modem wich he got on bt?

right, basically i have a tesco internet connection but i want to run xbox live so that the xbox is linked strait to the modem (not via the computer) . my current modem doesnt have an ethernet connection but my mums borfriend said i could have his (which does have one)   would this work?
