In Pac-Man I no longer found myself moving in the wrong direction. With the D-pad I would want to go right, but many times I'd end up moving up or down. Downsides: The controller could be wireless, but it doesn't kill me to connect this to play the coin-ops. The unit is also not real useful for controlling other titles like puzzle games or traditional 360 games. You should know what you are getting here: you are paying $60 to play the coin-ops the way they were meant to be played. Dropping that much green for a controller is not for everyone, but those that do take the plunge will enjoy much-improved control for games that were intended to be played with a real joystick. It seems to me that m$ would have one since 75% of their arcade games need an arcade stick to be played well. I don't really care anymore though since I can play all the classic arcade games on my psp with arcade graphics instead of the console versions (MK & Street Fighter II) and "enhanced" version that they keep releasing on live arcade. I'm much happier using my psp for classic gaming and my 360 for new games.

At that price, I'd prefer getting Hori's DoA4 stick.  The layout on this Mad Catz controller seems rather clumsy, but from the review, I guess it's not as bad as it appears.

i would pimp it but my 52 inch and couch are 10 feet apart and my xbox sits on top of my entertainment center next to my tv so the cord would be atleast 4 feet too short for me to want to use... shoulda been wireless

I don't see how it could feel much better than a crappy Atari stick.  What a waste.

I want to see a picture of it unless there happ oscar or ultimarc real arcade part's I would rather build my own from scratch and use a 360 controller wireless or not and it would cost around the same but then the labor come's in bt if your building it yourself your on time is well worth it to have it look and feel the way you want it.

Hi if anyone is interested i bought hori doa4 stick plugged in to my pc with 360 driver i googled and ran aload of emus
snes/mame/sega ect
im happy
