Title: System Link Between Standard Xbox And 360?

Just wondering if you can system link a standard xbox to an xbox 360? Has anyone tried playing games via system link? I want to purchase a 360 but we currently have so much fun playing games over the home network between  a chip mod'd standard xbox and a non mod'd standard xbox. I understand that I won't be able to play 360 games but most interested in halo and halo2. Thanks!

Any backward compatible game that is system-linkable will work.
