I was wondering if anyone has tried using a Wireless Network Adapter from the standard xbox on a XBOX360? It seems to me that it should work in the network port of the 360 but an email response from MS said it wouldn't. They didn't go into further detail. Has anyone tried this?
Another question I have is can you system link a standard xbox to a xbox 360 over a home network? I currenlty have 2 first gen xbox's that the kids love playing halo on via system link but I wanted to sell one of them and put money towards a 360.
Thanks!

The Standard Xbox Adapter Works Fine.

Thanks Wingfan....so you are using one with no problem?
-
iused mine for a year just fine before buying the 360 one
-
Thanks pimpmaul...any particular reason why you switched?
-
Same here, I switched because there alot cleaner looking and more compatible with the 360.

i switched because i own a premium xbox (custom painted)4 wireless controllers, a play and charge, a standalone ms brand charger, 4 rechargeable batteries a ms brand 360 steering wheel, a wireless headset, the camera, the hd dvd player, a smack talk, 2 big ms brand 360 mc remotes, a harmony remote and every single last arcade live game so it didnt make sense not to own the network adapter as well.. i am just a person who has to own all the official brand stuff and some others that arent official but good
edit:edited for typos

Thanks all for the feedback. I just got my xbox, hooked it up to the old wireless adapter and was streaming music and doing photo slideshow with my PC within 30 minutes. (Of course I downloaded the Zune sw to my PC) pretty impressed with the sw so far for the 360!!
