Title: Returning Xbox 360, Am I Ok To Keep Hard Drive?
Post by: Golfing on January 03, 2007, 12:42:00 AM
Seems like i have a problem with my Xbox 360, it keeps freezing even after playing for only about an hour.

Last night i was playing my beloved Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2007 and was heading for my best ever round when suddenly the XBOX went quiet and came up with the message "dirty disk" or words to that effect. The same message was displayed during a round of golf last week.

Obviously not happy with this even though the actual game disk itself is only a month old and has not dirt or scratches on it.

Dont really want to lose my hard disk and lose the fantastic profile that i have built up playing Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2007 so i was thinking of just exchanging my Xbox 360 but keep the harddisk. Is this a good idea? Or would i be better off exchanging everything?

Hope you can help

Happy New Year!

Are you talking about exchanging it with a store? If so i'm sure if you explain the situation they will be able to replace the console only (you keep your controllers, hard disk, headset, etc.).  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

Thanks 4 your post, yes i bought the Xbox from my local Tesco.

Just didn't want to keep the hard drive if it is that that is causing the freezing, but it looks as if it is the console so i see about just exchanging that.
