Hi
Had my xbox 360 for over a year now, not a problem, but today I checked out how much free space I had on the HDD, says it's 6.3gb left. It originally starts off with around 13.9gb right? Well I've added everything on the system up, when you go in to settings -> memory, and in total, it equals around 2.5gb, so I add that to the 6.3 but get no where near the 13.9 that I originally had.
Any ideas except for formatting? Don't wanna lose all my saves!
Thasnks guys
when you first get your hard drive its only got about 9 gigs of free space. not 13.
go thru the memory screena nd jsut delete all the stupid videos that come on the hard drive the music everything. it saves some space.
but yes it dont take long with demos and stuff to really eat away at the space .

My HDD was about 13GB when i first got it. But yeah cached downloads can take up a reasonable amount of space. Isnt there something you can do to clear the cache?
