i was playin my 360 today n i had to turn it off then turn it on, n now all of a sudden every game i put into it it says unplayable disc is trhis the drive n is someone else havin this problem (IMG:style_emoticons/default/uhh.gif)

Sadly - we're having exactly the same problem. We had been playing since Christmas (mostly Kameo), switched to the Gears of War in coop and played for awhile. When my husband went to switch to online mode to play with a friend, all of a sudden the system can't read any disc. It just keeps giving the "Disc Unplayable" message.
There may have been an update that came through the online system when we logged on.
We called the 800 help number and they are sending us a box to send it in for repair.
I've searched around though and not found another similar problem other than your post. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

and he said sometimes the magnet in the center on the motor that spins the cd and magnetizes to the spindle comes unglued.. it will either be stuck on the spindle or magnetized to something else.. if that is the case glue it back in to the motor
