Title: Broken 360-out Of Warranty - Next Step?

So I've had my 360 for around 6 months and it now freezes all the time. I called MS and they gave me the normal "your warranty expired 2 weeks ago" crap and it will cost $139 to fix. I still have the box and everything, what would keep me from buying a new one and returning this broken one? Do you think they would really noticed what I did? I know it's not totally legit but hell MS is full on ripping us off. What do you guys think?

Call MS and fight and ask for a free repair tell them you read on the net or here all the failures and ask for a free warranty repair.


Do not comit retail fraud and buy a new one and exchange. This only makes things cost more.


If ms fights you can try a repair yourself. But I bet if you kick and scream ms will repair for free.
