Title: Sammy Drive Broken

I recently bought a broken xbox 360, the problem with is was the dvd drive was jammed. So i opened it up and took a look to see what was the problem. Inside the Sammy drive the spindle broke off, the gears were missing teeth and the motor wont spin.

there are only a couple of gears and the motor to replace so i wanted to know if Samsung made a dvd rom drive that was similar to the Sammy drive on the xbox 360 so i can gut out that one and repalce the parts i need, or is there no hope in recovering this drive and my best bet is to just replace it.

ditto, i need a new black tray that the laser rides rides on, something cheaper then having to go out and buy a new 90 dollar drive

i gather there is no soultion to this problem, i guess i will have to buy a new dvd rom. sucks.
