Title: Heat Trick Worked But Now Its Freezing

hey guys i had the 3 red lights problem and i did the heat gun trick and it worked for probably about 2-3 days and now everytime i play a game about 5 mins in it freezes up, is there anything i can do to get this to stop or do i have to ship it into xbox

It didn't work then.
MS will not repair a box that someone has taken a heat gun to, or indeed even opened up, so shipping it in may not be an option either

Try it again. Also it wouldnt hurt to buy some memory heatsinks. You have nothing to loose.

is it the screen freezing if so your gpu may not be getting cooled properly, try checking the "gue" between the heat sink and the chip if its cracky and flaky you should try to get some new compound on it.

so M$ won't fix a xbox if you tampered with it? Tell me thats not so (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Thats not true! I open mine, they said they can't fix it for free. But can replace it for $130. But that doesn't matter to me I fix my own.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/muhaha.gif)
