Title: Rescue Your 360 !
Post by: MilouX on August 11, 2006, 10:44:00 AM
Hey guys (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) !

Do you know about the "Hot Air Gun" method ? It's a way to save the 360 when she has the famous "3 red lights of death". Apparently it works, a guy tested it (from xbox-mag.net) and now his 360 is fine.

Here is the video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYv6b7MndJk

Is that so (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) ... sorry I didn't know. In which topic are you talking about that ? Has it worked for many people ?

Theres too many too list here.

It seems to in most cases, but it's risky, as you could damage your motherboard.

i had the 3 red lights, so i decided to wrapped my 360 in plastic, and turned it on and let it heat up till it shut its self off on its own. i let i cool (about 20 min) then turned it back on and it worked no more red lights. give it a try if your out of your warrenty.

becarefull this could start on fire, monitor the 360 the whole time use a surge protector and don't blame me if something goes wrong but it worked for me.

you may have to do it a couple times, i still get problems when i play siants row, but everything else works fine.   u should still find a way to get a new 360 or sell the one u have. i don't think this is a fix just a temporary repair.
