Title: Yellow Capacitor 4v 820uf

Hi guys , just found the specs of the yellow capacitor its , 4v 820uF , does anyone know if i could replace this with a 6.3v 1500uF capacitor and would it work ,

or does anyone know a store in the UK that sells 4v 820uF capacitors ,

as always help appreciated

Yes, any time a capacitor blows while in a circuit it is good to replace it with a higher voltage capacitor. The cap can only charge to what the circuit's voltage is so you don't have to worry about over doing it or anything. It will perform the same as the old filter capacitor but is less likely to blow when the voltage spikes. It will smooth it out just as intended and work for a long time.
