Title: Hitachi Rom Not Ejecting

hi everyone

i think i fried my hitachi dvd rom is there any way i can check the pcb board (the one with the firm  ware chip on)

the rom will not eject and it cant be detected in windows and all i get when i switch the 360 on is error 64.

or is there anyway i can get the security key from the dead drive

have you pulled 12V from the DVD drive? (to power LEDs, fans, etc...)

no mate i tried too install the new underdog firmware mod, i couls smell burning on the modchip but not on the pcb board
