Title: Removing The 360 Heatsinks?
Post by: NookularDeath on July 07, 2006, 05:22:00 PM
ummm... I'm usually pretty technically inclined in taking stuff apart, but I'm stumped..

how the hell do you remove the brackets on the bottom side of the 360 MOBO that
hold the heatsinks in place???

thanks for any info...or photos...  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Use a small flathead screw driver.  Place it between a pin and where one of the arms of the X bracket arms grab a hold of it. Very carefully push outwards away from the pin and it should pop off. It shouldn't take a whole lot of force. Mine didn't anyway. I would do one side at a time rather than diagonally. It's easier.
