Hi,
I've managed to get an xbox, mod it, upgrade the harddisk to 120Gb, install Slayers evolution-x installer and install xbmc 6-11 all in one evening (thank all of you for your tutorials!!!). I'm fairly technical, but I don't want to screw up anything on my freshly installed xbox (uploaded lots of stuff to the disk and I dont want to wait on that upload again :) ).
I want to get rid of that old version of avalaunch that comes with slayers installer (the default dash). It freezes in the menu from time to time. I really like XBMC and want to make it my default dash.
Is there an easy way of setting this up? I've searched through the tuts and the faq, but I'm obviously missing the right search terms on finding an easy way to replace my dash.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Oh, I haven't tried it yet, but does XBMC have an in game reset function? :)

as for ingame reset, xbmc doesn't have its own ingame rest (there is a rebootbutton) but if you have an xecuter2 bios that supports in game reset independent of app/game thats being run (except evox).
