Title: 360 "standby" Mode? Wtf?

Ok if you if you plug in your controlers with your play and charge kits and then hit the on/off button quick the 360 goes into some kind of standby mod! The screen goes blank the on/off light goes off but there is still pwoer going to to the console! Is this normall? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/uhh.gif)

yes, the console needs to stay powered on to deliver power to the Play and Charge kit...

this is part of the reason I got rid of my Play and Charge kits for rechargable batteries.

Oh, ok! Thanks mate! I thought it was just my console being a bit strange.... lol

the console has a 5v standby.  and if u use the system for a long time and than turn it off itll keep the fans running at full speed, and if u have any lights connected they will stay on too til the fans turn off.  actuallly im not sure if all lights will stay on, i just know that my hdd lights stay on w/ the fans, but the hdd lights are running at 3.3v not 5v or 12v
