Title: Need Some Quick Input On The Power Button
Post by: IneedtoModmore on March 09, 2006, 05:36:00 PM
(IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v702/RmgeneralBull/c0474d76.jpg)

I am going to be extending the switch with a push button switch, but i need to know which contact is which of the 4 that are there???

Do i need to get a 4 pronged push button switch, or is two of those ground and two of them power (of the same voltage)?

Any input would be appreciated

I'm not 100% sure if the Xbox 360 uses this kind of button, but normally on the little buttons with 4 leads, the leads connect in sets of two.  One side has two on it, the opposite side also has two leads, and the last two sides have no leads on them.  The two leads on the same side should close when the button is depressed.  If you're still unsure, use a multimiter.  If you don't have a multimiter, they're not too expensive and really useful when doing any electric work.
