well australia is 230-240 volts and japan uses 100-110 volts.

that means your going to have to buy a step-down adapter (that reduces the current, i dont know what they call them in shops). you cant use a travel adapter otherwise you will fry your xbox360/PSU, they dont reduce voltage.

that would be a step up  converter. its just a transformer. you should be able to get them from DSE, Tandy, or Jaycar.

just shop around, because if you buy the first one you see, you will probably be ripped off. check out ebay as well.

From another Aussie > Been a while since I was in here to mate. You do realize that you'll ALSO nee dto buy NTSC-J games, NOT NTSC (Nth America) games. They are two different things. Do a google on them and you'll find out the information you need. I was goingto grab a Xbox360 off eBay Australia, until I noticed that almost ALL of t hem were Japanese units, NOT Nth American units.

Additionally, do remember to give BOTH the xbox360 AND the Transformer "plenty" of air ventilation around BOTH units. As between the two of them, they will produce a LOT of heat.

There are two transformers I believe, On eis for around 350 watts andth eothere 500+ watts - if that's any help. They say the llater is much better and works a treat without much heat being given off.

Hope t hat helps. Sorry about the games thing though. I "presume" you already know this t hough ?!

Cheers . . . Merlin53 (aka XboxOZ360 Aust GamersCard)

Region free:
Call of Duty 2
Condemned
Gun
Quake 4
Ridge Racer 6 (US VERSION)
Tony Hawks : American Wasteland

That's 6 games/18 = 1/3

there are stores selling games for $85-100 AU. Games will be AU$100-110 (depending on publisher) when it's launched.
Also, there's 2.5 months to wait. That's ages.
Furthermore, you can buy very cheap games imported from the US. Just ordered Madden with 3-5 day post (usually 3 days) for $65AU approx.
