I meant to say "I imagine the system/memory keeps time".

Well, you are not alone i have the same game and same problem, i played halo and thats ok. Have you tried any other games.

I had the same problem, but it was because I had two profiles. One was Live and the other wasn't. I had to delete the non-live one because I couldn't trasfer save over to my other profile. Make sure your logged into the correct profile next time you play. This may or may not help you. Good luck in finding a fix if it doesn't!!

Naa, it's definitely not that.  I have 2 profiles but it only ever logs in on my default one.

I just finished it.  Nice ending.  Only got 32 out of 50 achievements.  Guess it's time to play through again on hard, only using Melee weapons...

I'm shitting it already!

If anyone else has any input it's much appreciated  cool.gif

hmm, well I have that game and I haven't run into any problems... then again I haven't unplugged my PSU either  rolleyes.gif

I'm not to familiar with the clock function, does it automatically set when it connects to XBL?

Also if you're looking for a hardware solution. The original Xbox used a 5V AeroGel Capacitor in place of a backup battery.

I believe that the stock cap was .25F but replacing it with something larger yielded a potential 3 days of downtime with no clock loss...

I'm not about to crack open my problem-free console but if you can find an AeroGel cap on the mobo... $10 says that's what it's used for  wink.gif

... I'm moving this to hardware chat as it's more a problem with the console then with the game...

One more problem i had was the game locking when loading, so i deleted the saves and started the game again, played through no problems .

same problem over here in the netherlands.
playing condmned,
i was beaten up and wanted to load my save game,

i loaded it and was back in the beginning of the game. level 2 or so, i was playing in level 6...

is there a way to fix this? or do i have to play every level again?

this sucks big time!
nobody can tell me when it will happen again of course.

this is the first thing what went wrong with my xbox360....
hope its the last....
