Title: Turning Off Wireless Controller

I've had a wirelss controller for some time, and I've charged it up with the play and charge kit. Every time I disconnect the charger, it won't turn off. I end up removing the battery pack. Is that the only way to turn it off?

when you have your xbox 360 turned on hold down the xbox guide button for a few seconds and it will ask you if you want to turn the controller off or shut down the console.. this is the only way other than removing the battery pack.
