I have seen the inmense amount of people who have xbox1 dev kits but how in the world did they get them or how expensive they were. Also how come people with the dev kits(coughsmartxxcough) couldnt dev anything if they had them for a while or compile a bios? Also how in the world did they find one, or who sold it. Also I hearead the first time a dev kit was used by a hacker was one leaked software and the web.
Leo?

they got stolen, or some asshat developer sold one and claimed it was stolen or fucked up.
devkits don't have shit to do with the retail hardware usually, i.e. lacking security or having an entirely different bios (360 devkits have a 64 MB tsop, retail only has 16 MB).. anything developed for a devkit, mod- or bios-wise, won't work on retail.

That's why we need debug BIOSes to run the XDK.
If you buy a DevKit Xbox, it will most likely come with a blank HD.
