Title: Question On Wireless Network Adapter
Post by: SirGuyO on November 01, 2005, 04:02:00 PM
Since the thing connects through the USB anyway, could you just use your own?

I have a D-Link DWL-G132 connected through USB on my PC right now for my wireless. Would I be able to plug this into the 360..... Or do they screw you by only being able to use thier product... (99.99 for their adapter is a bit steep)

I cant evin spell Theirs....

Title: Question On Wireless Network Adapter

USB devices usually need specific drivers for each piece of hardware, and I doubt MS has filled the x360 HDD with drivers for all the USB adapters out there. It's not a PC after all.

If you had a wireless adapter that plugs into the RJ45 port then you could use it, but probably not your USB one.
