Title: Dvd-region X In Mediacentre?
Post by: l u n t on June 05, 2004, 08:14:00 PM
I've looked through the pinned threads, but can't seem to find an answer to this:

Can DVD-regionX be added as an executable program from within mediacentre?

If so, can a shortcut or something be created to launch the program easily?

You can edit XboxMediaCenter.xml so that dvd's play with dvdx.
Go here:

 <dvdplayer></dvdplayer>  <

I have yet to add mediacentre, or see how it works.

Does that mean that when a dvd is insert mediacentre automaticlly plays the dvd?

If so, is mediacentre multiregion?  <

Yes is defaulted to automatically play dvd's when inserted, and if you set it to use dvdx as your player it is region free.  <
