Title: Can Xbmc Only Stream Shoutcast Files?

Hi ive been listening to KBig FM on my pc streaming through windows media player. the URL i use is :- http://ccdig.liquidviewer.com/kbig when i try and create a strm and access via XBMC i get a not shoutcast stream error, is there anyway i can play this radio channel on my xbox??  <

Enter that to txt file.

Save

Rename to blablabla.strm

Ftp to xbox

Start from My Music

(listening to it now so i know it works)  <

thanks mate did that at first got a CDDB_NOT_SHOUTCAST....... error and then after about 30 secs it started to play, thanks for your help.  <

http://mcms-delivery.virtuebroadcasting.co...delivery=stream - im getting the same error with the above string, its a dj set by Sasha i can get it to play on Windows Media Player but accessing the strm file from xbox justs gets the cddb_not_shoutcast_error and doesnt play can anyone get this to work???  <

try to use this:

mms://lonwle.virtuebroadcasting.com/{47CAD9CF-A58B-4787-8130-B413B3E9BDFC}/{057A144D-B9ED-4372-B363-6C8DBA34D6BD}/01 - Track  1_a_high.wma  <

cheers jaydee, i tried that uploaded the strm file but still no joy! Just tried that format of url you gave me in media player and it comes up with a cannot find the file error???  <
