Title: .mp4 Playback Broken?

A few versions of XBMC ago I could playback .mp4 files great, but now with the newest build when i try play them, the video and audio stutters really badly. Is this just happening to me or is anyone else experiencing this problem? Is there any way to fix this? I've checked I've got all the Codecs that i had in the old version, I've deleted all traces of XBMC and then put it back on my hard drive, but still the same problems. any help would be great, thanks.  :)   <
