Title: Screen Size
Post by: BlazinKhan on May 24, 2004, 11:01:00 AM
I watch some shows that have subtitles and I can barely see the subtitles.  Their cut off half way and it's very annoying.  I know you can press START to change it from normal to zoom or to soft (or whatever it's called)  But, with any of those the subtitles are still cut off pretty badly.  I was wondering if I could change the screen or move it around or anything.  I played around with it and I couldn't figure it out.

Thanks for any help !  <

I tried that, but when I go back to playing the show the subtitles are where they are usually.    <

Settings > My Videos > Screen Calibration (or something similar; that is from memory)
Press A a couple times (unless you want to set the corners and stuff) and you will eventually get to set the subtitle position.

Well the subtitles are w/ the show.  Their put in manually by translators.  I tried what you both told me, and nothing worked.  Their still cut off half way.  If their was someway to move the entire screen up, I think that'd do it.   <_<   <

That is in the exact same settings - the corners of your TV are prolly not lined up, so move them until you can see the whole arrow and that should fix it.  <
