Has anyone put in an HDMI output in their 360 yet? I'd like to know how. Thanks!

short answer... no
long answer, I'm sure it might be possible through modification of the SCART, but I myself would have absolutely no idea where to begin and I think it would not be true HDMI quality in the end anyway.

no...even if you have a core it would still be cheaper (considering the time you put in to it and supplies) to get a elite

Dang. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Oh well, it was worth asking... Thanks for the replies.

first, he'd have to replace the ANA scalar chip with the new HANA chip.

Could you not feed the output of the 360 into a dvd recorder that has hdmi upconversion and get the same thing?
Just a thought.

That would work. There's also a company coming out with a cable that does it, too. But my question was if I could mod the 360 itself to have HDMI. I just wanted the clean look of HDMI, using the component outputs isn't too messy and gives just as good resolution.

Pardon my ignorance, but how would feeding it through an upconverting DVD player do anything? I've never heard of one that upconverts any type of input, or one that includes any type of A/V input anyway.

yea ive seen these alot in my local currys digital, the upscaling dvd to 1080p, alot come with sd card readers built in, so i can confirm they do exist and i did check round the back on one of them and there is alot of inputs, but as i was gettin dodgey looks off the staff i decided to stop...

Team Xtener (XCM) has an HDI cable for the 360 without HDMI support. Below is the link
