Title: Ihas 224 Maxburn Capactiy Error
Post by: MrMustard on April 26, 2012, 02:23:00 PM
Fixed it! It turns out the issue was that the firmware I had was newer than the one the new max burner was written for. As the instructions say "upgrade to the newest firmware," this probably threw off others as well.

As the exe's found for Lite-On drives expect you have a specific firmware before, you can't use them to downgrade but you can find stock firmware here!

The firmware here just writes to your drive and doesn't care what's on there before. This means, as long as you haven't bricked your drive, you can revert to stock with their file, upgrade to the required firmware and NOT THE NEWEST, then flash max burner over!

Hope that helps some of you
