Burning at 4x might be the problem. Try going at 1X (which will default to the lowest combination the disc and recorder can pair at ... which should be 2.4).

"Waiting for device to become ready" ... this could be an "autoplay" issue. When your disc is finalized, your machine might be trying to play it instantly as a DVD rom. Windows Media Player could be locking up the DVD recorder and not releasing the driver properly.

On your next burn, set the tray to eject after finalizing. This way, you could further isolate the issue.

ok so that didnt help .. it still keeps getting stuck there but the game works on my xbox 360 .. just cant install it onto my HDD .. ive bought other burnt games and those install just fine onto my HDD .. so i dont know .. maybe im doing something wrong or not checking or unchecking something on imgburn ..
