hey im running a game through abgx and it says firmware 0800 wich would mean it will have ssv2 but it doesnt can someone please elaborate thanks
I know, I have been posting for a while to get round this one. some of my images have been ripped a benq 0800 drive but still comes up as ss v1, and some people are saying it will be fine as long as it passes abgx360 and others are saying it should be ss v2.

just been on abgx irc and thay say it is fine as long as you see 0800 firmware and the crc,s match.
again, as users in #fw state, SSV1 is fine "as long as it was not ripped using a kreon drive", hence c4's statement that ssv2 is "prefered" to be safe. Since its an 0800 rip, then you "should" be fine
taken from a guy who knows his stuff lol

What about a sh-d162ds with 0800 firmware? Is that okay
Are all kreon rips no good then now.

Sweet - Thanks for the info.
I have also gathered that SSv1 games wave 2 and before ripped with Kreon are also Okay?

Where in ABGX does it say the drive type/firmware that ripped the game? How can i check to make sure i dont have kreon rips?
-
you make sure that you don't have a kreon rip by checking the drive you ripped with. if it is a 360 drive, you have an 0800. but one would think that you would obviously know this, unless you are pirating!

I think it is unusal that says ssv1 as not a ssv1 rip. When I'm unsure if a good rip I will make 2 rips and ensure all the values match (crc etc.) However the rawss values will be different everytime.

I would like to know where can I go to get 0800 firmware for my drive so I can reflash it.
