Title: Which Ripping Method To Use
Post by: symbal on January 02, 2010, 11:27:00 AM
Yeah it probably is the via drivers because i had old driver installed and it refused to rip at all, so just download newer and try.

I just tried a few more and for me V3.10e seems to work best.

after testing many diff versions, 5.3c works best.  however i still get tons of the block error recovered at partition lba: xxxxxxx

it also goes much faster like 2.6x if u can call that fast.  XBC hangs every couple of seconds and says not responding in the title bar as well.  such a mysterious problem...

Just makes no sense why compatability's so screwy with different via drivers, my Benq drive works flawlessly with V3.10e but if i connect my Samsung MS28 my pc instantly freezes up and is completely unresponsive, but with V5.60 it does work but the Benq will read and write fw but refuses to rip games, does anyone know the best via driver for both drives? Or at least recommend a good hammer to give my f*****g pc(or Bill Gates) what it deserves.
