Does anyone know how to burn the activate.iso using Linux? I'm not that clued up on the CLI commands and don't want to waste any DL discs.

Just use the build in burner and your going to need a DL discs, you don't have to enter commands to download anything I cant remember Linux that much because I sold my PC with it on like 8 months ago.

For activate.iso just update to the new firmware ix1.61 that can play your Original's and backup's unless you got 1.51 and can't go any higher or you got the Liteon drive because there's no ix firmware for that drive yet  sad.gif

Burn .iso using gnomebaker

To make an ISO image, click Tools, and then Burn CD/DVD image depending on if you are burning to a CD or DVD. Then you will need to find the location of the ISO image (e.g /home/name/Desktop/someiso.iso)

Not using Gnome, but thanks anyway. Really just wanted to know if there were any extra parameters I had to put in like I do for burning my backups with growisofs. As it burns like a regular DVD but on a DL, it's not a problem.
Thank you for the quick response.
