I've been searching for info about this activate.iso method, and while I have learned HOW to do it, I still have several questions about it. BTW I have the liteon 1.6.
Very first question: Where can i find a reliable activate.iso file (specifically used for playing wave 4 games)
2. I've read something that says this lets you play games unstealthed. Wouldnt that be bad? I know there is always a chance of being banned, but will using the activate.iso method dramatically increade my chances of being banned. (I do play online)
3. Can/should I still run the game through ABGX? The only reason I'm asking is because from my understanding, ABGX will stealth patch and verify the game, however, I read (it may be incorrect info) using the activate.iso method runs your game without stealh.
4. Will there be any other consequences to using the activate.iso method to play wave 4 games? I still want to play wave 3 and under. And EVENTUALLY I will find someone that can take apart my box and update the FW to 1.61 (or 1.6a or whatever) or an even newer one (if there is a newer one at that date). So the activate.iso method wont prevent me from updating my actual firmware in the future correct? Basically I just intend to use this as a temporary solution. (The only reason I dont update my FW now is because I dont have the tool to open my xbox, and I dont feel confident enough to do it myself. ESPECIALLY if the proccess is similar to the initial flashing of the liteon drive.)

1. activate.iso can be found in jungleflasher's App
2. I don't think you understand the basics as to what goes on with a ban wave.
3. People who got banned did not get banned from turning on their console on October 30th. These ban waves only happen after many months of investigating by Microsoft.
It is no more or less safe now to be on Live as it was on October 30th.
There is and always will be a risk this is something you excepted when you chose to mod your console.
4. I would just update to the new FW and not use activate.iso. This new FW ix1.61 from what I read you can play originals and backups of your game's plus wave 4 games, so if you want to use a DL disc for activate.iso and play that way I wouldn't be able to tell you that one because I never used it hope this helps
