Can some one PLEASE suggest me an alternative DVD drive which burns at 2.4 with crap media that i can buy from the UK

I would recommend getting a liteon ihas124. I recently bought one off of newegg and it works really well even though it burns at 4x. 4x is the best speed for wave 3 backups anyway. At least, that's what works for me.
