Title: Using Xbc 2.9, 'start' Grayed Out
Post by: magikal99 on August 16, 2009, 08:53:00 PM
Hello, I'm using XBC and it used to work fine a few weeks ago, I think a Microsoft Update must have made XBC stop working. I'm on a Dell XPS with a D163A kreon Drive.

Xbox Backup Creator v2.9 Build:0306 By Redline99
Found ODD: TSSTcorp DVD-ROM SH-D163A SB01 at [G]
   Additional Info: KREON V1.00
Nero API is not available
ImgBurn 2.5.0.0 is available
   ImgBurn - The Ultimate Image Burner! by LIGHTNING UK!
Getting media info [G]
   Media Type: DVD-ROM
   Bytes Used: 7.05 GB (7,572,881,408 bytes)
///
The 'Start' Button is not click-able, the drive is unlocked and can see the game, but doesn't allow you to proceed.

I've read everywhere I could and figured someone must have the same problem.
Thanks!

I did not realize there was an XBC 2.9 released.  I'll find it and give it a try when I get a chance.

Hi there, I have the same problem on my XPS, albeit with a SATA 163B drive.

Did you find a solution ?

Flash the drive over again with the latest version of Kreon. I have had a couple drives that worked fine and then stopped reading correctly and then work fine after a reflash.
