Title: Ixtreme 1.6, Cant Get New Backups Too Play

Hi i have 1.6 now all the old backup play ok but any backup i make now dont play all i get is (play dvd)so it isent seeing that its a game.Hope some one can please help.ive got 6 coster so far ive used imag burn also clone cd and set the layer.

I think I'm experiencing the same issue.  Couple months back I was able to burn my games with my Pioneer DVR-216D while using ImgBurn or CloneCD to burn the ISO's and everything worked beautifully, playing the games and all.   But for the last couple of weeks, I cannot play any new games that I burn.   The burn process goes great, no errors nothing.  But as soon I pop it in the Xbox 360 and go play.   It says play DVD then I get a the huge XBOX LOGO and just stays there.   It appears its not reading the burned copy properly.

I've already upgraded my Pioneer DVR-216D firmware to 1.09 using DVRFlash.  Burned another ISO and still didn't work.

I've then enabled the bitsetting while using MCSE then re-flashed again with DVRFlash, burned another ISO,  tested, still didn't work.  My last option was to apply the RCP1 patch on my firmware.  I did apply the patch, re-flashed, burned and still no success.

I'm really running out of ideas here. I'm not sure if the problem is related with the burning process (PC related issue) or XBOX DVD-ROM related issue.  

If someone could shine a little light on this it would be great!

What DVD drive is in your Xbox 360 and are these Wave 3 titles that you are trying to play?

He probably has the broken version of 1.6 for the liteon.

If that's the case get the repack then reflash and give it a go.

Other possibility is that you are burning patched ISO's. Consoles with old iXtreme versions (like 1.5, 1.4 and below) can't load the 3rd Wave games, that's why many users patch their game ISO's to change them to 2nd Wave... It solves the loading, but spoils the LIVE security. The iXtreme 1.6 just allows 100% untouched backup from the original game to load.
It's easy to verify if the ISO is untouched:

Yeah, make them yourself.

anyway, sounds like you flashed 1.6 before the repack, just reflash it wit h 1.6 repack firmware

I think your right.  Cause if I recall correctly i have the iXtreme 1.5 version, I'll try flashing my XBOX DVD-ROM drive and see if that will work.   Is there a quicker way to do it, besides opening up the xbox and taking out the dvd-rom to connect it to a computer, then flashing it?

HI my drive is a samsung and i got the firmware from x bin 1.6 when i flashed it too long numbers dident match so i hit spoof and that fixed it so could be the firmware.

hello yall. i am getting a elite console with the iXtreme 1.6 software and was told it can play backups. my question is .....
eerytime i want to backup a game do i have to take apart and reassemble?
what are these wave3 games and wave2 games.
what are the proccedures(patching ect) for doing it correctly?

have backup'd alot of xbox and other consoles first attempt at the 360 though..
