Title: Verbatim 8x Dvd+r Dl No Good With Both Of My Burners?

says something about media compatibility, but i thought Verbatim is the best discs you can get

I have a Lite-On with 1.51

Made in Singapore? Made in India? Singapore = great, India = not so much. It could also be your burners, yes both of them. For some reason the DVD+R DL drive in my laptop doesn't like Verbatim discs, and gives the check condition error, while my trusty Pioneer 111D has no problems with them.
