thats exaclty what i do but it gets to 66% on Schtrom and a mess pops up. i click yes to add zeros in game. and it stays on 66%. I would print screen it but im not sure if its acceptable. Its HAwk im trying to rip and is strating to become annoying. I have a samsung SH-D163B and its usb to sata, because i have a laptop. I dnt no why it gets stuck on 66%. i need some help and otherwise im down to just selling my drive and den my xbox.

Hi, this sound like more of a hardware issue.
I don't think any of the new games with NXE update (3rd wave partition) has any special backup procedure.
Aother user has successfully backup Wanted.
The only issue that I know of is the stealth check.
I have an IDE SH-D162C drive and it never give me problem.
I assume you have an external drive...maybe checking cabling to make sure everything is ok.

is there any difference in changing the speed of it reading
i do have the drive as an external 1. sata to usb converter and works fine for all my over games. and loads of games iv copied. it works gr8. but trying to copy this hawk is getting really frustrating.

yeah i gotta agree.....my kreon flashed samsung drive i got has been a very good investmen.....still learning the ropes with the wave 3 but starting to catch on...but let me get this right....from what i'm reading the retail we backup should be fine online even with the stealth check showing what it does at the end of the abgx?....just checking....sorry to sound like such a noob

not sure what to tell you...i never have a prompt (pop up) from schtrom during backup session.
And i use default setting for schtrom.
Maybe someone else has the same problem with their external drive.

I think as long as you have stealth check passed...you are okay.
You might have verification failed message -
Failed to find a verified ini file for this Xex/SS combination
That just means Abgx do not have your version of ini file in their database to compare with.

even better news epp....love hearing the good news....gonna give my back up of wanted a try then and see how it goes....should have a back up of guitar hero metallica by tomorrow afternoon if i'm lucky....will post my luck/results on that one to let you guys know how it goes

i have no idea y i keep getting map sectors for a pop in schtrom. never had a prob with it for older games. as soon as i extract hawk it goes silly.

I have backed up Guitar Hero Metallica successfully with Schtrom.
Same result as Stormrise.
Abgx360 v1.0.1 recognized it has 3rd wave video partition and
as usual did not recognize the ini file again.
Also the ISO file size for 3rd wave or game with NXE update is
7 654 976kb (or 7.29 GB) consistently.
Played alternately with both retail and backup copy on Xbox Live - no issue so far.

Well as history will tell you most of the time you will be fine playing unstealthed games offline and online UNTIL they start to ban people. Bans typically happen all at once and in bulk.....not individually here and there.
