Title: I Just Cant Get It?

simple, look after your discs.

unreadable sectors are because of physical damage to the disc, ie scratches, sticky fingerprints and so on...

clean the disk and set the read speed in xbcr to 6 or 4x and it may read if you havent damaged the disc too much.

what dvd writer are you using? and is the firmware up to date on it?
what discs are you using? bad burns are nearly always crappy cheap media related
what speed are you burning at?

when you burn using imgburn are you selecting the large image or the small .dvd file?

best way is just double click the .dvd file, imgburn will open up and set the layerbreak for you, just select speed and click burn.

do you need to set the writers booktype to dvd-rom, some you have to do this manually but as i use pioneer drives i dont know anything about it because pioners set this automatically.

also one more thing I got twoods to rip and everthing and I even stealth checked it with schtrom it was fine but then I go to burn (iam using image burn) and get halfway thru 50% and then I get an error I have ruin two disc already, I even tried to use dvd decrypter samething what would cause this??

O and thanks for the quick response

Just an FYI - if you're ripping the game with the newest programs (XBC or Shtrom), there's no need to stealth check anything!

The discs are just memorex dvd+r dl that might be my prob, and when I go to imgburn I select the big iso file, and I have the write speed at 2x, and yes I set the book type to dvd-rom, well Iam going to go and get some more discs some verbatim I heard those are the best whats crazy is that xbc wont work at all it has noting to click on for me to even try it out, has anyone had this prob to????

There's your problem. When you rip your games, a .dvd file is created. This enables programs such as IMGBurn and CloneCD to know where the layer break occurs (REALLY important for Xbox and 360 stuff). You need to be selecting the .dvd file when you burn the image.

the read error is probably your media that is damaged.

as for burning, a few clarifications: whether you choose .iso or .dvd, as long as the latter is present in the directory then Imgburn will use the .dvd parameters (if you trully want not to have the .dvd interfere you must delete it or move to another directory), It therefore seems knowingly or not you were calling the layerbreak properly.

Also be sure you left the layerbreak at the default "auto mode" (and not the user specified mode as this would mess the .dvd value)) and choose the .dvd . I find it easier not to bother with all this and use the option in the write tab of XBC to call imgburn such that it takes care of layerbreak for me.

Good chance you burner did not like those memorex. what burner are you using?
