Ok heres the thing, I am running the 5.2 firmware. The thing is, I have been out of the loop for quite a while in terms of single layer ISO's for the 5.2 firmware. It mentions that it has single layer support for both xbox1 and 360 single layer disks and that all you need to do is "just burn the game files to disk". So what I did is I tested that theory with xbox 1's prince of persia sands of time by extracting the game files and burning them with power ISO. The xbox 360 reads it but says its not backwards compatible with that game, however I have the latest backwards update, This also happened with fable TLC. The weird thing is, is I have a halo 2 game on a single layer disk that works, and I can't remember what I did since its been almost a year since I made a single layer ISO. I tried doing this with Halo 3 by deleting all the single player maps and burning it to a disk. The 360 recognizes its a game but then says the disk is dirty or damaged. I heard from one person that the xbox 360 single layer file feature never worked but if this is the case why did xtreme add this to their feature list? So how exactly would I go about making a single layer xbox 1 and or 360 backup successfully?

single layer xbox 1 games are done, by extracting the original, getting the layout file, and using it to reassemble an .iso. I used MooGUI when i made one to test out.
As for 360 games, I don't think that ever happened...i could be wrong though.
