Hey Guys,

I have taken a while to finally flash my 360.

First of all thank you to anyone who has posted on Xbox-Scene.

I just want to pass along what has worked for me (no problems at all!)

Flashed my MS28 Samsung drive with a serial ATA Via Raid card, 1st shot with the 10 sec trick.

Bought a Samsung SD162D (or something like that) with the Kreon firmware on it.

Have been backing up games on Verbatims, and ran out to wally world and picked up memorex (YES MEMOREX) and have had zero problems.

Ripping the game with XBC and burning them onto the discs in IMGBURN with the layerbreak # 1913760

Burning them with my LG GSA-4167B DVD Burner.

Here is the info on the Memorex DL DVDs from ImgBurn. (15 for $20 at Wal-Mart Canada)

I hope that this helps someone!

Again, Thank you to the scene, you helped me out a lot!

P.S.  There is a lot of stupid questions.....IF you don't read the PROPER material.  I read everything 6x!

Not bad, but you might also want to add the firmware revision on your Sammy drive and on the DVD Burner. I have to congratulate you though on being one of the few who actually posted the detailed info needed to give others a more accurate picture of what to expect rather than just posting,  the typical "Memorex DL DVD+R work for me." type post that many do.

Actually for the PC drive, I meant the firmware on your LG Burner.  Since that is all a part of the equation. wink.gif

My LG Burner has driver 5.1.2535.0

It shows from 07/2001, so there is nothing special there.
