Title: Is My Burner Ok For Burning Xbox 360 Games
Post by: Chimp5000 on July 07, 2008, 12:03:00 AM
As long as it can burn dual-layered discs, it is probably fine.  However, you will probably want to make sure before you burn a game, that you can change the booktype.  Some drives are supported in Imgburn and changing the booktype is a snap.  Others not so much.

Install Imgburn and see if you can change the book type of one of the drives to DVD-Rom.

its not a necessity to change the booktype, burn the game with a .dvd file at 2.4x and your good to go

the drive that i have right now is GSA-h55L (cost me 30 bucks on sale at futureshop (aka bestbuy) LG it can change the booktype also, the best firmware for the benq would be 1.41 although its not much different then the 1.4, and it depends where you live i live on the west coast of Canada here and everytime i purchase4 an arcade it has a benq drive
