Title: Different Checksums From Same Game?
Post by: JohnyBlaze on February 07, 2008, 11:18:00 PM
So I picked up a TS-H352C and crossflashed it to SH-D162C TS05 Kreon 1.0.  I used both Schtrom360XtractV3.4 and XBC and I come up with different checksums when I rip Assasin's Creed NTSC. I generated a .sfv file (this calculates checksums) with defaults for both programs, and come up with the following results:

XBC v2.8 build: 0275 yields this checksum (complete backup): IMAGE1.iso df9db11e
Schtrom360XtractV3.4 yields this checksum (whole disc sealth xtreme 3.0 splitvid): IMAGE1.iso fce86bfa

They both pass as stealth of course, they both have the same file names (IMAGE1.iso), but the point remains; if this is a true 1:1 copy, the results should yield the same checksums.  Your thoughts?
