Title: How To Check The Ss Of A Backup?
Post by: nathanknight on December 10, 2007, 01:42:00 PM
OK, I just made my first ISO from a game. What is the best way to check it before burning it to make sure it's a good stealthed backup that I can play on Live with?  Do I need to check the SS, PFI, DMI, Media ID Video File System and the SplitVid Format?--and do all of those 6 things need to pass to be good to play on Live? What program should I use to do that?  Thanks!

might be dumb question but is there a way to work around a bad rip? i just bought a samsung TH-162D and backed up my first game and when i checked my ss.bin it said 'bad kreon rip'

is there a way to go about fixing this? a different way to rip my games? i used schtrom3.4 the first time

The 'bad kreon rip' and the kreon checker are irellivant now that iXtretme 1.4 is out and that it was discovered that the ms25/28 can on occasion pull 6701 from new games.  If you want to bother with it, you could re-rip you ss multiple times and one of them will eventually be a 'good rip', but again there is really no point.
