Post by: pigbait on October 04, 2007, 04:06:00 PM
Hey guys.

I was doing a search on how to make DVD-R DL to work on the 360 or even just make a working backup and found only one old post. i'm not takeing credit for this. I just want to let you guys know how to setup imgburn to make the media work. oh and DVD-R DL are cheaper in my area.

1. Open imgburn
2. Go to tools/setting and find the TAB write.
    - under the write tab to the right hand side you will see an options menu.
    - in that menu you see Layer break (for DL Media) check the box (user specified) under you will see a box set the layer break to 1913760.
    - under the Layer break settings you will see (Use layer Jump Recording (-R DL) ) check that box.
3. Save settings
4. Burn the .dvd file.
5. Test and play.

note** this was tested working on the samsung TS-H943 drive. Status unknown for Hitachi Drives
