sweet... thanks for the move soso, i was thinking i should have started a new thread... smile.gif

also thanks for your reply.. i've read through that tutorial a couple times.. the thing is they all deal with direct ripping from an x360 or kreon drive.. i've already got all my games backed up onto my xbox hdd and i was hoping to go from there.. is there a program that will do.. extracted xbox1 game files or xiso > ixtreme compatible x360 dl iso.. hell if this were the psp community there would be 7 to 12 of them.. all with crazy names like "X-build Iso Maker 2.4.4.5 LE-A2' " haha ...

side question, do xbox 1 games have their own unique ss/pfi/dmi information and that is why they need to be ripped directly ?  thanks again for help!

exactly, rebuilding is much longer and create more problem than just putting the game in and one click to backup + another to burn.

(not to forget that the first is against Xs rules as you cannot rebuild a backup from an already backup)

oh.. sorry for the rule breaking.. its been a loooooong time since i re-read the rules..  and that seems pretty Frigged to be allowed to talk about ripping the game, extracting the game, burning the game, playing the game(offline).. but not about building an iso from the extracted files..please show me the rule i have offended.

So i have the originals , thats not really a problem there.. but i don't have a kreon drive and my x360 TS drive is flashed with 1.2c so i've got no options.. i am looking at the same end.. a backup of my original disc.. but i can only use my xbox1 to rip, which extracts the files into root folders, and i can't get any program to make use of those files.. can i not ask for assistance if i don't have the "supported" hardware? could i burn an xbox 1 single layer disc then use just a normal dvd-rom in my cpu to rip from my xbox1 backup to a xbox360 backup?..

simply the rules saying no making multiple bakups or no backups form a backup.

But since you need its ss file (samsung x360 or Kreon made), it is irrelevant in this case, when you connect either of these drive that is when you do your backup. You wont extract that with your xbox 1 drive.

Infact the same as for x360 backups, if you do not have either how will you do your X360 backups? rolleyes.gif

since i updated from 5.3 i the only game i've bought is transformers(bad game) so it hasen't been an issue.. i'm kind of holding out hoping there will be a firmware revision that enables an 0800 mode.. although it probably won't happen.. thanks for the other xbox 1 help.. looks like i'll just use the original and hope my 360 doesn't eat it.. smile.gif

Buy a samsung drive and flash with Kreon.  The drives can be found for like $35-$40.  Not at all a big investment to ensure your originals are not damaged.  Plus, you can then use it for your 360 games as well.  Nothing is better than having your originals protected while the 360 scratches the hell out of a backup..
