how bout setting the pioneer as master and the other as slave. and make sure to burn at 4x or slower.

Sorry I meant to say you should try a different batch of media.

also this could be the image, have you tried to run the stealth check of xbc or schtrom to see if all pieces are there.

or something is wrong with your PC/Burner(must be new a 112)??

right the image passes all stealth checks (its not just one game its evreything im ripping)

im going to mess around with the jumpers a bit later see if that works.

i alwats burn at 2.4

Have you tried another burn program (ie IMG Burn).  Just be sure that if you use it that you manually set the layerbreak before burning.
