i wonder when the price for these discs will finally drop to $0.50 each?

I spend $1.59 a disc on Verbatims (MKM produced) versus $1.20 a disc for Ritek (which is who Memorex outsources to). No comparison between the compatibility and versatility of the two.
Incidentally, does Best Buy charge state sales tax if they have a location in your area?
