If you are having failures using "IMG Burn" or "Clone CD" when burning XBOX 360 images i recommend buying a "Pioneer DVR-112D DVD-RW" . I had this issue with 2x DVD-RW drives even after firmware updates and then simply replaced my drive for the Pioneer and everything worked perfect. For your reference the 2 drives that failed were :
1. LG GSA-4163B
2. Sony A170

Glad to hear the new Pionner 112 drives are continuing the high quality burns that previous Pioneer models have provided.

This is a question for the topic starter or anyone who can help i have the same burner mentioned and was wondering how you burned your 0800 disk and the steps you guys used for getting your pc to recognize the drive,
I have been attempting this for about a week and no progree on my pc fitted with a via 6421l sata card( because all i could use to flash my ms-28)
anyhelp or ideas would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I'd like to add, that I had some major problems with IMGBurn, too. I updated everything (software-wise) and still same problem(session fixation). I then tried it in SafeMode and voila! It burned EVERY TIME! So, if you want to just try your luck, try safemode. Good Luck!

I have a pioneer 112D that i use and i tried imgburn, and clone cd and kept getting errors. I have since switched to Xbox Backup Creator and burn speed at x4 and it works excellent on every burn.
