Title: Nec 3520a Image Burning Problem
Post by: MicTju on February 27, 2007, 02:45:00 PM
Hi,

I have a NEC ND 3520A burner and i have tried to burn an Xbox360 Iso (Saints Row & Viva Pinata) with ImgBurn, CloneCd and Dvd Decryptor. But my problem is that i get read errors :S.

This is the error that i get with ImgBurn:

And i've searched the net to find if my burner supports DVD-Rom writing, but i could only find that it reads DVD-ROM and my question about that is; does my burner supports DVD-ROM writing?

This is a screenie from DVDInfo;

I have set the DVD burner settings on DVD-ROM.

Could someone help me out on this or does someone has the same problem?
I wasted 5 Platinum DVD+R DL :S

PS
I've tried different Firmware's from http://liggydee.cdfreaks.com/page/en/NEC-ND-3520A/ and still not solved the problem :S

That is either that your media are not liked by your burner (and would be better on verbatim)

or your image is not good, how have you done the backup?

Are original playing fine, movies playing fine,

-for ss.bin which software & drive
-for game.iso which software & drive
-how was it merged

i just got the iso's from the net!

And with Xbox backup creator i have checked the SS.bin etc. and it was all good..
And then i burned it with XBC and i stil get error's :S

how can i merge the ss.bin with the iso? (with XBC and then burn it with XBC?)

The iso for Saints Row doesn't contain any SS.bin file of other bin files, but viva pinata does contain ss.bin and other .bin files...
